My name is Br. Askar Hussain, and I'm a techie by trade, hailing from the beautiful Central Pennsylvania. In the past I've launched alMinaret, a platform that helps the communities connect with their Masajid better.
Our son, Arsh Muhammad Rayyan, started to memorize the Qur'an at the young age of 9, and I saw him doing it the hard way, as there wasn't an easy way for him to check his mistakes unless the teacher corrects him or when parents are around.
I always thought technology could help with this, and make this process a bit easier, and that's when the idea of Hifzify was born.
With so many distractions in life I put aside this effort for a bit but was constantly chipping on it as I find time and space. Even though he became a Ha'afidh, by the mercy of Allah (SWT), I still think there are many more who could benefit from this platform, and decided to get it done.
By the mercy of Allah (SWT), I'm happy to say that Hifzify is now ready to be used by many more. This effort was shaped by our kids primarily, one a Ha'afidh, and one pursuing her Ha'afidah. They both were integral part of this effort in shaping it to what it is now, Alhamdulillah!
It was hard work, and my family sacrificed quite a bit in this effort. I humbly ask you to include them in your precious Dua 🤲
May Allah (SWT) accept this effort from us and count it towards our good deeds 🤲
